You can refresh any given tier twice for a crazy amount of crystals. So in theory you can get up to 60 shards/event, but it's costly. So if you're starting with 0 shards and doing 2 refreshes on a given tier, it will take roughly 6 months to unlock any given toon.Proving grounds. It comes around for a day at the end of every conquests season and you earn 20 shards a time. You can refresh his tier twice for 2200 crystals a time.
